You know what’s awkward?

Getting into your apartment elevator with 4 other people after you’ve just been outside running for 2 hours.

I try & cool off a minute before getting in the elevator, but sometimes I just really need to get up to my apartment to get some h2o so I don’t really want to lolly-gag.

Getting into the elevator this morning after a 10 miler was bad. I was the first person in the elevator, so there was a chance I’d be a lone rider but as soon as I was in a group of people came around the corner & piled in. I don’t know if it would be more rude for me to just press the ‘door close’ button, quickly closing them out, or to let 4 of my sort of neighbors ride in an elevator with my sweaty (and I assume stinky) self.

Maybe next time I’ll just take the stairs…
